INTRODUCTION
NOMADs is a group of students studying for graduate degree in computer science/engineering at the University of Florida under the guidance of Dr. Ahmed Helmy. Mobile and wireless networks is main area of study in this group. Recent focus of research has been on mobile social networks, involving mobile users' behavioral pattern.

The videos for Mobile Social Networking Testbeds are uploaded in research page. They include prototype with iRobot Create and visual simulation by several different modes. Source codes will be available soon.

Several members received journal invitation. Jeeyoung Kim and Gautam Thakur were invited for fast track special issue from IWCMC. Saeed Moghaddam was invited to submit to Elsevier for his works presented at SCENES/SECON.
Our former member, Fan Bai (Genaral Motors Research) will be presenting his paper in MobiCom. This is second year in a row for him. He is an author of IMPORTANT framework (cited 511 according to Google Scholar).
Our former member, Shao-Cheng Wang's BEWARE work was published in the latest edition of IEEE Transaction on Networking (TON).
- Our former member, Wei-jen Hsu's "Mining Behavioral Groups in Large Wireless LANs" was accepted to IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing (TMC).
